To make your treatment more pleasant and to help nervous or anxious patients we offer various types of sedation. We always try to help every patient firstly without using sedation. Our dentists all have extensive experience in helping all patients prepare for treatment calmly and confidently by ensuring everyone has time and opportunity to ask questions and seek any reassurance they need.
Inhalation sedation or laughing gas produces a sensation of lightness and warmth and is appropriate for some procedures.
Midazolam or twilight sedation induces a feeling of deep relaxation and a lack of concern or anxiety about the procedure which becomes very pleasant. This is most commonly delivered by IV.
Prevention Is Best
Even with excellent home oral hygiene, you can’t clean your teeth as well as a professional hygienist. By seeing a hygienist regularly, you’ll keep your teeth and gums healthy and help prevent tooth decay.
Love Your Smile
If your teeth are a little worse for wear – broken or weak from acid, too many fillings, or from grinding – it can impact your smile, the way you talk or eat and certainly your confidence.
You only have one set of teeth – keeping them working well and looking good takes careful, ongoing work. Of course, the best cure is prevention.
